CITY POP on VINYL 2024
CITY POP on VINYL an analog record event specializing in city pop, will be held this year on August 3 (Sat.).
City Pop was popular from the 1970s to the 1980s, and in recent years has become a firmly established genre among not only young Japanese music fans but also overseas music fans.
CITY POP on VINYL was launched in August 2020 with the hope that people would enjoy these old and new works of city pop on analog vinyl, and this year will be the fifth time the event has been held.
This year's event includes the official release of Linda Carriere's fantastic album Linda Carriere produced by Haruomi Hosono after 47 years, and the first analog reissue of Mayumi Kuroki's 12 Scribbles known as the first album to which Tatsuro Yamashita contributed a song and which appeared in the Premier Record Pictorial as an album exceeding 10,000 copies. The lineup is sure to appeal to core city pop fans as well, as Mayumi Kuroki's 12 Scribbles is being reissued in analog for the first time.

シティ・ポップに特化したアナログレコードのイベント「CITY POP on VINYL」が今年は8月3日(土)に開催決定！
1970年代から80年代にかけて流行し、近年日本の若い音楽ファンのみならず、海外の音楽ファンの間でも確固とした人気を誇るジャンルとなった”シティ・ポップ”。
「CITY POP on VINYL」は、こうしたシティ・ポップの新旧作品をアナログレコードで楽しんでいただきたいという想いから、2020年8月に立ち上がったイベントで、今年で5回目の開催となります。
今年は、細野晴臣プロデュースで制作されたリンダ・キャリエールの幻のアルバム「Linda Carriere」が47年を経て正式発売されたり、山下達郎が初めて楽曲提供したことで知られ、プレミア・レコード図鑑では万超えアルバムとして登場した黒木真由美「12のらくがき」がアナログで初復刻するなど、コアなシティ・ポップファンにも刺さるラインナップとなっております。

DIGGIN' SHANGHAI 101, curated by xcaiticx, is an event that combines crate digging and exploring the city for record lovers and collectors, whether they are from out of town or local. At this event, xcaiticx will turn himself into a tour guide and will take participants on a tour of the city as they visit record stores all over the city.
在上海挖掘唱片 / 第一课 是由xcaiticx发起并策划的在地活动，这个活动将以整个上海市为活动范围，去寻找和探访这座城市里的最佳唱片店，同时在来往唱片店的间隙，领略这座城市的魅力和文化。

The first round of DIGGIN' SHANGHAI 101 will take place from Wednesday, July 10th through Sunday, August 18th. During this period, there may be more than one DIGGIN' SHANGHAI 101 event. There is no deadline to register for this event, which is run on a rolling basis. However, the exact dates of the event will need to be determined based on participants' schedules, so it's highly recommended to sign up early and keep the schedule flexible.
首轮在上海挖掘唱片 / 第一课 将在7月10日至8月18日之间举行。在这期间，将会有一场或多场在上海挖掘唱片 / 第一课 活动举行。由于本活动采取滚动形式举行，因此不设报名截止日期，但活动场数和具体时间将由报名人数和参与者的行程安排来决定，因此强烈建议尽早报名并预留充分的灵活安排时间。
