Over the past few years (2019-2022), xcaiticx has gone through a period of frequent and localised lockdowns as well as the surgery of spinal fusion that have left xcaiticx at home, and could only do some online diggings, which has been very surreal. Now the tough times are over and it’s time to go offline and dig in record stores, flea markets, yard sales, and anywhere else records are available. So, xcaiticx has made a list of top destinations for record digging, and has invited some of his friends to go with him (some of them are from the local) in hopes of digging rare records in different cities.

As xcaiticx was making plans, his friend asked him out of the blue why he wasn't taking advantage of the opportunity to meet more people. xcaiticx was so intrigued by the offer that a whole new idea was born.

If you happen to be in one of these cities or are planning to visit one of these places at the same time, you're welcome to join xcaiticx in his gallivants for music discovery and record hunting. xcaiticx will be offering a few slots on each gallivant so you can dig with him, explore the history of the city together, and enjoy food and wine together.

Eventually, these gallivants will be documented and published through photos and films. Perhaps in the future, many things related to these experiences will be released, such as picture books, record store guides, interviews with musicians and vinyl collectors, and so on - in short, anything is possible.
