RECORDS OF THE YEAR
At the beginning of each year, xcaiticx goes through all the vinyl records he has bought during the previous year and picks a representative number of releases that xcaiticx personally likes to make up the previous year's RECORDS OF THE YEAR.
The Records of the Year is made up of six fixed awards: The Greatest, Best City Pop, Best Jazz, Best Fusion, Best OST and Special Picks. Each corresponds to a different genre/style, except for The Greatest and Special Picks. Best City Pop includes Daytime City Pop and Nighttime City Pop, Best Jazz includes Instrumental Jazz and Vocal Jazz, and Special Picks adds xcaiticx’s special selections from previous year’s records to the list.
每年年初，xcaiticx都会对他在去年一整年里买的所有黑胶唱片进行整理和回顾，并从中挑出具有代表性且xcaiticx个人非常喜欢的若干张唱片组成上一年度的年度最佳唱片榜单。
在这个榜单中，固定的评选奖项有六个，分别是年度最佳唱片、最佳都市流行、最佳爵士音乐、最佳融合音乐、最佳原声音乐和特别精选。除了年度最佳唱片和特别精选以外，其它奖项各自对应不同的流派或风格，其中最佳都市流行包含了日间派和夜间派两个分类，最佳爵士音乐包含了器乐爵士和人声爵士两个分类，而特别精选则作为xcaiticx的个人精选对这个榜单进行补充。
